Rhododendron in Oxford
This April we started seeing some unusual winter damage.  The heavy snow cover served as a big blanket to keep the bottom three feet of shrubs from drying.  But the top parts of evergreens had no such blanket so we see a lot of winter damage now.  The rhody to the right is a severe example, but we see a lot of this all over the area.
