Fertilizing

Not too long ago, we'd take a soil auger, drill holes in the ground under a tree and fill them with a granular fertilizer.  This did help the trees but we've come a long way since then.

Today, we think of fertilizing in terms of adding soil amendments.  The products might be kelp extracts, fish emulsions, yucca extracts or even soil mychorrizae.  By amending the soil with the right materials we do a better job of helping the trees, while being better environmental stewards.
